AWANA 2006-2007

AWANA resumes Wednesday September 20th at 6:30 PM

Cubbies (2 years before kindergarten) meets at the church. Sparks (K-grade 2) meets at the Bridge Building, corner of 9th Str S and 9th Ave S Sparks should do Red Jewels in order. Green Jewels may be done in any order. Sparks have special theme nights throughout the year this year!

Wednesday Meals

Calendar of Events for September

• September 6, 6:45 p.m.-Leaders of Wednesday CD activities meet at Salem
• September 10-First day of Sunday School
• September 13-Back to Church Night, 6:45 p.m. (PARENTS ONLY)
• September 20-First Wednesday evening with Children's activities (Cubbies' parents stay tonight)
• September 23-Children's Ministry Conference at Bethel for parents and children's leaders Sunday morning CD
• 4th-6th grade students will meet at 1018 10th Street South (2nd house south of Salem) immediately following first service for refreshments.
• 1st-3rd grade students will meet in M23 immediately following first service in M23 for refreshments.
• All CD classes will use Gospel Light Sunday School materials.

Wednesday Night

Meal time details and regulations:
1. Dinner is served 5:45-6:30 p.m.
2. All children must remain in the dining area throughout meal time
3. At 6:30 p.m., CD leaders will arrive at their area of responsibility, leaving their children in the care of another adult.
4. At 6:30 p.m., Sparks will line up in the coat room with the rope for transport to the Bridge Building.
5. At 6:40 p.m., the remaining children will head to their assigned places.
6."At 6:45 p.m., "Inside Out" will bring 3rd-6th graders together in the sanctuary at 6:45 p.m.

Drop-off, pick-up:
1. Cars/carpools with Sparks are to drop off Sparks first at the Bridge Building then proceed to Salem.
2. At 8:00 p.m., please pick up Sparks first at the Bridge Building, and then get in line at Salem to pick up the rest of your children.
3. Maps and more details will be presented at "Back to Church Night."
