Connect "4" Life
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." How do we experience this "life to the full"? The game Connect Four gives a clue. The thrill of victory goes to the first one who can connect four of his/her pieces in an uninterrupted row, column or diagonal. The problem is that someone is always putting things in the way.
If we are going to experience this "life to the full," we MUST connect in these four ways:
" Study together
" Pray together
" Eat together
" Serve togetherNow some of you will begin to protest-"To connect in those four ways will take a lot of time. I don't have time to go to a Bible study, and to a prayer meeting, and to a church potluck and get involved in a ministry." And you are absolutely right!
But what if you were able to do two, three or all four of those things all at the same? What if your committee meeting set aside time for devotions, sharing, and/or extended prayer? What if your small group time started with a potluck? What if ushers gathered for prayer before and/or during the service? What if the softball team stayed ½ an hour after the game to pray for one another? What if you walked into a Sunday school teacher training meeting and thought you just interrupted a small group meeting? What if married couples worked together in a ministry so that "together time" and "ministry time" happened at the same time?
The thrill of victory goes to those who can connect four in spite of the obstacles of busyness that keep getting dropped into our lives.

Women's Bible Studies
Tuesday morning:
Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy Join Beth Moore in a faith-building study of prophecy, and learn how to "Shine for Christ" in modern culture. The first portion (Daniel 1-6) deals with the life of Daniel, and the second half (Daniel 7-12) deals with prophecy.Walking by Faith: Lessons Learned in the Dark by Jennifer Rothschild. Although Jennifer is physically blind, God has taught her to see that living a life based on faith rather than sight requires us to look at our situations through a lens that filters out what is seen and, instead, focuses on what is unseen-those things that are eternal.
Ephesians: Building a Community in Christ - using John Stott's study guide. People long to belong. They crave community. They want to be loved and accepted by others. In Ephesians we learn how to break down what separates us from God and others. These studies provide a vision of God's plan in his church.
